March is National Women's History Month

"Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women." - Maya Angelou

Women's History Month, declared each March by presidential proclamation, began in the late 1980s as an effort to make sure women were not written out of history books. It's an honorary time to celebrate the vital role that women have played, and continue to play, in American History. Four decades later, we find fearless and courageous women making history with great achievements in many areas: social, economic, cultural and political. Women consistently contribute to advancements in our society, despite roadblocks placed in their path, often shattering glass ceilings in every sector, making things better for all. Celebrate the iconic women in your life who lead, inspire and define a new world for us!
